NetMath-Spotlight

NetMath Spotlights are short online meetings dedicated to a particular subject of digital math education. They are planned to happen, in general, every first Tuesday of the month, 19:00- 19:30 Berlin time at https://webconf.vc.dfn.de/netmath/. Participation is open to all, registration is not required. NetMath Spotlights are held in German; they are not recorded. The next NetMath Spotlight Tuesday, December 11th 2018, 19:00 - 20 will provide an introduction to and overview of IMathAS - the Math test system which is in wide use in the land of Rhineland-Palatine.

Getting Ready for GDPR

The new European Privacy Regulations (GDPR) will come into full force May 25th, 2018. They provide more rights for individual users and more obligations for organisations providing web sites which handle personal data. I revised the privacy declaration of our Math test system IMathAS and used this as an example to explain in a NetMath spotlight on May 9th, 2018, what GDPR means for the teaching staff of our universities.
